Reciprocating Grate

Reciprocating grate is a small mechanized grate developed on the basis of fixed step grate. It has the characteristics of simple structure, convenient manufacturing, less metal consumption and good smoke elimination and dust removal effect. It is widely used in small industrial boilers and is a kind of promising combustion equipment.

The structure form of reciprocating grate: inclined reciprocating grate, horizontal reciprocating grate and drawn strip reciprocating grate.

 

Tilting of the reciprocating grate structure

 

There are two kinds of inclined reciprocating grate, one is the more general inclined reciprocating grate, the other is the water-cooled reciprocating grate developed in recent years.

General inclined reciprocating grate is mainly composed of fixed grate, active grate, transmission mechanism and reciprocating mechanism.

 

The whole combustion surface of the grate is composed of half of the fixed grate and the movable grate, which are stacked into a step and tilted 15.~20. horn. The fixed grate piece is embedded on the fixed grate beam, which is then fixed on the inclined groove steel bracket. The movable grate sheet is embedded on the movable grate beam, which is shelved on the roller spent by the two ends of the fixed grate beam. The lower ends of both sides of all movable grate beams are connected with connecting rods.

 

When the motor is started, the transmission mechanism drives the eccentric wheel through the moving rod, the connecting rod push and pull rod, and the connecting rod, so that the active grate piece can reciprocate on the fixed grate piece. The reciprocating journey is generally 30~70mm, and the coal goes down and back. The motor is controlled by the time relay to adjust the opening and stop time according to the requirements of different boiler loads and coal types.

 

Water-cooled reciprocating grate is mainly composed of butterfly cast iron grate, water pipe rack, transmission mechanism and reciprocating mechanism, and the type of butterfly cast iron grate and water pipe rack.

 

The water pipe shelf is welded by a row of straight pipe on the collection box, and the front and rear collection boxes are used respectively, connecting the pipe and drum connection, and constitute a circulation loop. The butterfly cast iron grate is embedded between the pipe of the water pipe, the contact surface of the pipe are coated with water glass mixed metal powder, and the module mold is tight, the pot water flows in the pipe, so that the butterfly cast iron grate is cooled.

 

After the inclined reciprocgrate, some set burning out grate (also known as residual combustion grate). The ash basically burns out the fuel on the grate, and then turn the grate over and pour out all the ash. Due to the serious air leakage and complicated air regulation of the exhaust furnace, the water seal ash pit is often used for regular or continuous slag discharge.

 

In the use of volatile, fast fire coal, it is easy to burn at the exit of the coal bucket, and smoke from the coal bucket out. In order to eliminate this defect, the secondary air can be passed at the coal gate to blow the flame into the furnace. But the more thorough solution is to improve the coal feeding device under the coal bucket, so that the coal leaves the coal bucket and then through the feeding plate, into the furnace deep position and then combustion.

 

Tilating reciprocgrate furnace and chain furnace, it is also necessary to arrange the furnace arch in order to make the coal fire smoothly and strengthen the gas mix in the furnace. According to the specific situation of the reciprocating grate, the relatively simple inclined front arch can be used generally. When burning bituminous coal and lignite, some do not set low and long back arches, but use the middle arch or middle partition wall to match the front arch to help the new coal catch fire. The middle arch or middle partition wall can be completely vertical, or the lower part is vertical and the upper part is tilted forward. When burning bituminous coal often vertical back wall, some also set.
